Lexi loves water balloons! But she was frustrated by the hose and faucet methods of filling them. And the mess.
Like all great inventors, she was inspired to solve her problem and create a parent-approved way to fill water balloons by herself – without flooding the kitchen floor or grass with wasted water.
Rummaging around in her grandmother Donna Ramere’s garage she found an old garden sprayer, cleaned it up, filled it with water and began trying it on the balloons.
Lexi ran into the house to show off what she called her "new invention" to her grandmother, and Donna supported Lexi fully in her pursuit.
After many adventures in design modifications, Lexi brought the Pumponator to life as the ultimate kid-friendly ‘balloon solution’: No more breathless blowing, no more futile filling from runaway water hoses! Now every kid can blow up or water fill their own balloons, and we can relax and enjoy!
As Pumponators flood the market - not our lawns - Donna helps Lexi with sales & marketing, and they make a fabulous G!Mother-G!Daughter team!
Customers love Pumponators
Here's a representative rave from one happy Mom:
"...My 3 boys can do this by themselves and that is the best part!! They love water balloons...but me and Dad hated fighting the hoses and ending up wet. Lexi, you have created a wonderful invention that will rise to the top of the toy list...They use them the air for balloons as much as water...I have seen a lot of toys and have purchased a lot of toys...but I have to say this is the best investment I've made."

The Pumponator will fill balloons with water or air, and it comes with your first 500 balloons and string for tying. Easy to work – For kids too! Just pump the plunger, stretch the balloon over a small nozzle, and pull the trigger to fill.
For water balloons, the Pumponator has a 60 oz. dispenser that fills 20-25 balloons – then refill water for another batch. For filling balloons with air, it’s the same process, without the water. [That’s 500 balloons you DON”T have to blow or fill ]
Kids can do it themselves! Pumping air ballons, filling water balloons, and tying them all off. Lexi made sure it’s easy for kids to use, including her clever tying method before it comes off the Pumponator
It’s portable! Now water balloon battles can happen anywhere, anytime. No hose or sink dependence.
Eco-friendly - No water waste trying to get big bursts of faucet water into narrow balloon necks.
When Lexi was asked what her next invention may be, she said “I want to invent a better way to know when your bike tire is running out of air. I can't tell until it is already flat. I tried to use my pumponator to pump it up but it is gonna need an adapter for that. “
I’m planning to follow Lexi’s career closely... I think she may be the one to finally bring us smudge-proof nail polish?
Wishing us all the joy of joining our GrandKids in their exciting pursuits...
